GMGC's First Trophy

Green Mountain Go Club's first bit of recognition came on or about March 4, 2006 at the "Tenuki to Go" tournament at Middlebury College. Tournament referee, senatorial sibling, and all-around-great-guy Pete Shumer ran yet another excellent event. Our very own David Pearson (right) took second with a 3-1 score, losing the final match to Igor Evilbend (center) whilst giving 9 stones. Chaing-Kai Eel (left) took third with an utterly electric performance.

The Puzzling Nature of Go...

Brian ponders the "Stolen Sandwich" tesuji as Griff looks on, wondering where his sandwich went.

Now if we could just find that sandwich....
